2006 F250 4x4 front hub replacement, recommendations and sources
I need to replace the hubs on my 2006 F250 4x4, and have started looking for replacement hubs and trying to sort through hundreds of threads on different brands, reviews, etc.
Basically it boils down to Timken, Moog, and Motorcraft.
I would typically go with motorcraft, and source through Ford, but at $650/ea that's not an option this time. However some places, like rockauto, have the same part listed at only around $350. While I might expect to see it slightly cheaper, not less than half the price, so it is a bit concerning it may be a rebuilt or fake branded part.
Looking for thoughts/experiences with which manufacturer and vendor to use for these?
And it is HUB158 for the motorcraft part number, correct?
I put Warn Premium manual hubs on my 2006 F350 probably six years ago. Was mainly a plow truck. Just got rid if it in April, but the hubs still turned smooth as silk and were problem free.

Sorry, it is the bearing hub assembly, not the locks, the part that actually keep the wheel on the truck.
