Super Duty Axles (Defects) Oil Leaks
I'm not sure what years, but there is a rumor that the Super Duty Axles were made in India and they have defects. The diffs were made in Mexico and sounds like the axles were made in India. Unless, some diffs and axle combos were made in India. My diff say Mexico on it.
Ford replaced the axles seals under warranty on a truck with only 39,000 miles. I do not think they replaced the axles but now wishing they had.
Has anyone else heard about this problem?
Check your front and rear axles for leaks (wetness around the wheel). There is another thread where the owner's brake pads are soaking wet. I think from gear lube leaking out.
