I am looking for Goodyear Hi-Miler tires for my 1979 Ford F-250 Custom. The size is 8.00-16.5 LT. The tires I have now are Hi-Miler Wide Tred P Load Range D and they are a 6 ply nylon cord. I am trying to keep my truck all original and I cant find these tires anywhere. Does anyone have a good lead or have any for sale?
Locating 16.5 tires is like looking for a 5 gal bucket of unicorn tears with a 1lb bag of gold hens teeth in there too. They can be found, but are getting rare I do believe?
Here's an option that we picked up for a spare February of last year. Tire shop in Nichols SC had it for us next day. Not sure if they're even still there or not after the flood pretty much wiped out the town late last Summer.
I got a set of Power kings 16.5x9.5 through Firestone. Had them for me the next day. I think they were about 100 a piece plus the other fees to put them on.
