Hi tech beer can spacer

I was dying to get a new set of comp bb roller rockers. But I couldn't afford ta get the 7/16 studs for em. I had ta have em and just bought em. Then me an my buddy Jeb got an idea ta just make spacers for ma 3/8 studs and run the new rockers so we cut apart the beer cans that were piling up and cut some strips and jus wrapped em around the studs and shoved the rockers right on down nice an tight. Whatcha all think

first question that comes to mind....... are the cans empty or full... if they are full, that would be alcohol abuse

It's hack and not going to work, at least not for long. If you can't see why, which is obvious to anyone with any mechanical aptitude, I'm just going to say, go for it and start saving for new valve train components.

It'll be a lesson learned the hard way....

This is a joke, right?

If not a joke, I say hack and I'll-advised.

I'm thinking those fancy aluminum rockers have steel inserts, and aluminum will be beat up and non-functional pretty quick.

And you'll soon be looking at repairs far more expensive than the studs...
