Transmission ID?

Can anyone tell me what transmission is in a 1985 E-350 Club van, with diesel motor? The tran code in the door is G. Is this a transmission that would fit in any truck? Looking at swapping parts......

Transmission ID?

Behind that diesel, I would think it would be a C-6.

But sorry I don't have anything that lists that transmission code.

Is the pan shaped like this, with 17 bolts? If so its a C-6.

Thanks for the lead. Do you think the bell housing is big-block (351M/400, 390, 460), or is it a creature of its own behind the diesel (6.9L)?

I have no idea if the diesel shares the same bellhousing bolt pattern as any of the gas motors.

Sorry.

Surely, someone on here would know though.
