Nice truck. Good price. All there other than maybe a rear step bumper. Good pics though for those guys out there piecing together a truck, good reference pics to compare what and where everything goes, etc...except battery...
Theres something going on with that truck, its got a 2WD battery tray under the hood and also a 4x4 battery door in the floor...unless F100's came like that. Cant put a battery tray under hood of my F250 because pass side inner fender is different than 2WD. Or so it seems. I tried it, aint happening

After reading this post, I looked at the ad again.
It's a 4WD conversion, probably by a previous owner.
The seller posted the VIN: F10CR510720
F10 = F100 2WD / C = 292 2V / R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant / 510720 = 1964, assembled March 1964.
So is the seller aware? There's no mention of a 4WD conversion.
Looking at the right side view, the front wheels seem to be too far to the rear, are not centered in the fender opening.
Edit: There's a pic of the Warranty Plate, the VIN begins with F11 = F100 4WD .. but the Warranty Plate looks brand new (possibly a Marti replacement).
So, the only way to prove whether it was originally a 4WD, is by the VIN on the title.

Its funky, theres no doubt about it!! Thanks Bill -
As a general rule, worry about conversions when you see the newer '64-'66 styleside bed on a '64 or '65 F 100 4x4. Even without looking at a VIN #, most will not go thru all the trouble to locate the correct bed, cut the frame down and use correct steering wheel and column. I think the dual battery conversion is a great idea! Maybe it was a factory DSO job!
