Hey guys,
I have a 79 Bronco with a 400 and Im getting an intermittent spark problem. It'll be running fine and just die out, then it'll come right back again running fine. I put a new cap and rotor on it with no change. I did notice that the fairly new Magnetic pick-up moves a bit which dont seem right. I also noticed a small amout of oil on the sides of the bottom plastic part under the cap. Im thinking I may have a wiring problem or maybe that pick-up being loose. I know its definitly a spark problem cause I can smell the raw fuel when it quits and it sometimes backfires thru the exhaust. Any ideas?
