Parts interchange > Dash & Tilt column ?
I am going to be getting my friends '93 F150 that is totalled and swapping the drivetrain (302 EFI/AOD, not AODE) into my '84 Bronco. I'm curious as to whether his dashboard and tilt column will go in my ride? Is this swap doable or a hassle that's not worth the trouble? What about just swapping the column if the dash is a pain?

i dont think you will have a problem with the dash, if anything there may be a couple brackets to make or move. also the electronics and heat controls etc .. unless you just mount the controls from your 84 into the newer dash

It's a huge pain. The '93 dash won't fit your firewall very well, and the '93 column won't fit without the big aluminum e-brake pedal bracket that only fits the '92-96 firewall. You can scavenge a LOT of useful parts out of the dash, but don't waste the time trying to swap the dash into your truck. Look thru my signature link.
