I mentioned on a post that I used trim edging on my inner fender panels when I cut them for the IFS on my 52 but cannot find it again.
The stuff I used had a number of 75000341 and was called mini snap-on trim that I got from JF Hagan Dist. in San Antonio 210-227-4166 @ $1.25 ft. I don't know what brand or what the real name for the stuff is but it molds around metal edges and then you crimp it on with pliers it works great and stays on.
I am using it on several places where there is a sharp edge on the metal.
