'99 5.4L Low Idle/Stalls when damp,,,Clunk when turning
Hello everybody, I actually have 2 questions that I hope you all can answer. First off, I have a 1999 Expy 5.4L 4WD. When it it damp out, the truck will not hold a decent idle and stalls for a while. Seems like when the truck warms up, problem goes away. No idiot lights come on and the check engine light is working.
Second, when moving slowly and turning the wheels almost fully (like pulling into a parking spot), I get a single clunk from the front end. Any ideas?????

Regarding the idle issue, my '99 5.4 2WD does the same thing. A friend who has a 2000 model 5.4 said his did it too. He replaced the Idle Control Valve and it fixed the problem. I think I'll be doing mine this weekend. Good luck.
