front suspension upgrade

Will a mustang 2 ifs fit into a 1952 f2 front and if so can it be found in salvage yard

Usually the Mustang 2 is just a reference to the style not an actual mustang 2. The oe Mustang 2 had some odd parts and aftermarket has better springs and control arm designs.

Stock Mustang II is about 4" narrower than our trucks. It also has a stamped steel, laminated crossmember that is an integral part of their unibody structure. It's not like you can take it out and bolt it in your truck. But the overall package design and geometry is ideal for adaptation to many older vehicles. The aftermarket has made good use of it, improved it greatly and makes some really good parts. The stock stuff, not so much. Too small and twinky to be used adequately.
