Power loss

Load pulling grade has decrease in power. Sounds like clutch fan but it isn't. Sound varies, like high pitch bearing or some thing. Use to pull the grade at 50 mph with the toy hauler now pushing it maybe 43 mph. Don't seem to get hot at least on the stock gauge, but it use to just climb right on up. I did all the BPD parts with studs. Its my sons truck. 2004 cc lb 4x4 6.0l. I'm ordering him the scan gauge II tomorrow. So that's all I know. Any ideas guys. Your help is appreciated.

Turbo sounds possible.

I'll have to see if I can get him away Saturday, from his work, to see what I can see from the outside. Will a turbo make this high pitch noise from the inside, are are we talking about a leak some where?

It could be the turbo. but then again it could be a lot of things.
Your on the right track with the SGII. Get some data and then you will
be able to narrow things down.
