Hey all.. Any one know where I can find f250 side emblems.. F100's abound from the usual suspects Mid Fifty, LMC, Bob Drake, etc. but so far no go on the f 250. Mine were missing when I bought the truck . I checked the phx. market on craigslist also to no avail.
Thanks all
B5D-16721-A .. 1955 F250 Hood Side Emblem-R/L same / Obsolete ~ AFAIK, not reproduced.
At one time, Early Ford Store (earlyfordstore.com) in San Dimas CA had at least one NOS original in a showcase. But I haven't been there in 6 months, so I dunno if it's still there.
I guess there is isn't enough demand for them to repro F250 and up emblems. I have a 70 F350. I was looking through a Carpenters cataglog and saw they repop F250 and F350 hood side emblems... I guess there is more demand. The same emblem fits several years, I think 69 to 72 however where the 55 and 56 are different and 53 and 54 are the same...
A former member of FTE was working on a 56 F250 named Earl. George Started a web page called Earl's World. He attempted to cast his own emblems. Here is the link to his webpage: http://www.clubfte.com/users/earl/Page16.html
I don't know if he did make the emblems or not. He then sold the truck to another FTE member.
Another solution is to buy new F-100 emblems now and then when you find some good used F-250 emblems replace them. There used to be a guy at the Carlisle Truck show that had NOS hood side emblems in a show case for sale. I don't remember if they were F250, 350 or bigger. But he wanted an arm and a leg and he had them every year for at least the 4-5 years I went to Carlisle in the early 2000's.

Oh, and these are NOT mine.
Looks like at least some of the studs are broken and may need to be carefully repaired if you plan to bolt them on. I can't see in those pictures, but; there are also little spring sleeves that should be on the teats too.
Man, you should get a whole hood for that!
