Lug nut stud size/threads for '52 F1?

I'm looking to get some chrome lug nuts for my F1 just to dress up the steel wheels a bit. Wasn't planning to look just yet but a friend has offered me a set off a '66 Mustang project. Curious to know if the threads and stud size are the same as my '52 F1? I know that a lot of parts like this were common across different models, but as soon as I assume that and buy them, I'll be proven wrong immediately.

Gee whiz, all you had to do is take one home and try it. Then you would know that:

C5ZZ-1012-B .. 1/2" -20 Chrome Lug Nut ~ 1965/69 Mustang & 1967/69 Cougar with styled steel wheels.

E8AZ-1012-A (replaced B-1012 - B-1012-A - C0AZ-1012-A - C9AZ-1012-A - E6DZ-1012-A) .. 1/2" -20 Lug Nut.

1932/47 Commecial (1/2 ton truck) / 1932/59 and many 1960/96 Ford Passenger Cars // 1948/52 F1 / 1953/83 F100 / 1966/96 Bronco / 1975/96 F150 and etc etc etc!

Only problem with that is that he's out on Long Island NY and I'm near Raleigh, NC. It's not that I mind driving up to grab one to test, it's the disappointment I'd feel if it didn't fit when I got home.

Seriously though, thanks for the info Bill. I appreciate it very much and will grab 'em up!

Just to confuse things a little, tho, the original lug nuts are bigger wrench size than some aftermarket nuts with the same threads. I found out (the hard way!) that I have originals on the front wheels, and replacements that are a different wrench size on the rear. 3/4" vs 11/16" ? I'm not sure. The original type are still available all over, and fit the cone in the wheel better IMO.

Be careful if they are a closed style nut that you don't bottom out inside before they tighten down on the rim .

C5ZZ-1012-B is a closed (blind) lug nut.
