I am guilty of trying to build the "Mona Lisa" right off the bat, back when I was much younger. I fell into the trap of being a magazine rat and wanted a big buck car on a dime budget. The point is, I learned that all those ideas you pick up in the magazines cost big bucks, they also tend to side track the entire project. later I learned to write down on paper what I wanted the project to be in the end, then create a budget and timeline of sorts, then build to those specs.....makes things more realistic and obtainable.
Great article and so true! Now let's get back to work
