Rear glass grooves question

Guys and Gals,

On the back window seal on my F-3 pickup, it has a single groove on one side and two grooves on the other. My question is, does the glass fit into the side with one groove or the side with two grooves?

My guess is it fits into the side with the single and then the side with two grooves has one groove for chrome trim and the other groove holds it in place to the body?

Thanks in advance...

Yes...the glass goes in the single groove.

On the side with two grooves, one mates to the metal window frame. The other goes inside and is there to hold interior parts.

Install the rear window from the inside & pull the seal lip to the outside.

Do you know how to do the rope trick to install a seal?
