RAS adjustment

Anyone know how to "tighten up" the RAS? I have it on my Excursion and have been fulltiming for almost 6 months, we tow a lot and was thinking about stiffening her up a bit but can't remember how. I don't have internet now so hard to look up on my phone.

If I remember correctly, there are two nuts facing the rear of the vehicle. The outer nut is a locking mechanism for the inner nut. You probably need to take some of the load off of the rear axle by jacking up on the frame, then loosen the outer nut in order to tighten the inner nut and then tighten the locking outer nut back down onto the inner nut. I hope that makes sense. Basically you are increasing the tension by tightening the nut on the threaded stud. The nuts could be facing the front of the vehicle, really can't remember. Should be pretty easy to accomplish. If you still have trouble, maybe try reposting this into the Excursion forum, the RAS is more popular with them.
