Truck and Zf-5 transmission for sale

I have a 1992 F150 4x4 for sale. It has a 302 with about 175,000 on it. It has a T18 4 speed transmission with granny low first gear. The interior is perfect except for the tear on the drivers side of the bench seat. The truck runs fine except it needs new tires and I think a iac valve. It stumbles on cold start-up and sometimes dies. After it warms up it is fine. Other than that the truck runs fine no gears grind and it locks into 4 wheel drive everytime. I am asking $2000 obo or trade for an import must be stick shift. Civic hatchback or coupe, 240sx, crx, rx7 things of that nature. Let me know what you have you can call or text 470-331-5035 no calls after 10 texts are fine anytime I also have a heavy duty zf5 speed transmission that has about 150xxx miles on it that fits 300,302,351w motors for an extra $650 obo.

too bad that ZF5 don't have the 460 Bellhousing...I'm thinking of doing that swap some day

Looks like it's been awhile since you posted your ad, but I just saw it today and wonderin if you still have it. I deal with trucking Companies everyday so shippin should'nt be a problem. get back to me and let me know.

You mean a 400M or a diesel?

400M will need a big block bellhousing, even though its not really a big block. ZF5 doesnt have removable bellhousings.

Yeah, a 460 ZF5 won't work.

Actually I disagree. I helped my dad swap a zf5 from a 460 into a 7.3l turbo diesel (not powerstroke). I believe he did a few minor modifications on the bolt holes, but no complete re-drills and that could have been because of the difference in years of the two trucks. (His swap, not mine...) However aside from the hole mods the transmission hooked up well. We ended up going with an adjustable slave cylinder; this may be key for anybody attempting the swap however because of the difference in years I am not positive. This was a transmission out of an 89 truck going into a 94 - different truck families.
