Being new here to GA, I gotta ask you guys. Whats with the freakin pollen?
i mean, I looked outside one day and my truck (normally midnight blue) is freakin yellow. So it had been awhile since it had a good wash and wax, so I took it to the alpine spa right down the road. $40 for a full wash and hand wax (including interior windows/vacuuming). Not too bad a price, to be honest.
But here we are a week later, and my truck is yellow again. Is there some secret I need to know, or do I need to keep cleaning my danged truck every week?
Patience is the key word here. It will pass with time. Most of what you are seeing is Pine Pollen. I wash and wax my rig good once a month and then run it thru a cheap wash once a week during the pollen season.
Looks like he will not have to wait. The warm winter didn't kill many bugs. I primed the hood of the Bronco Saturday, and when I got through it looked like a large piece of grey Fly Paper. Not exactly the look I was going for, but dead bugs do not rust.
