Acworth Car Show
There will be a car show in Acworth, GA on March 31st, 2012, from 4pm till 10pm. It will be downtown on the main drag. I will be going, but probably won't be there until 6pm.

I just want to say that an invite goes out to any FTE member or non-member that wants to show up at the Acworth Car Show (Sat., March 31st, 4-10pm). The wife and I will get there around 5pm, to take a look see at the purdy cars and trucks. We might even take a few pictures, no promises. We figure if anyone wants to show up, we could all go out to eat somewhere afterwards or when we finish. We were thinking maybe Mexican. I'm just throwing it out there as an open invitation. Write back here, or pm me if you might be interested in coming. Sure would be nice to meet or get together with a few fellow North Georgia members.
P.S. I am not affiliated with the show. I'm just going to have a good time and get a few ideas.

Always fun playing with the grand-kids. The show is not until Sat., March 31st. There is still time for you to plan on attending if you want to.

I might swing through there. I grew up in Acworth, if you guys are looking for good food Henry's is always a great place to eat. Also my friend Chip owns a BBQ place called JD's. Good food. If I go I will probably be on my motorcycle. I am Shane btw, new member and I live in Woodstock.

Hey Shane, we hope to see you there. Get with me (pm or email) if you are coming , so that we might get together at the show.
We have eaten at Henry's before...very good food, kinda pricey. We have also eaten at JD's BBQ before... the smoked meat was very good, we didn't really care for the sauce or the sides. But, we are really picky about our BBQ. Hope to see you there Shane.

Classic Car Cruise: The City of Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise this Saturday. The event will be held 4-10 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Acworth. The event is free to the public. A $2 entry fee is requested for all vehicles in the show. All proceeds go to benefit the Horizon Field, an all inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth.

We went about 5pm, great weather, mid to upper 70's. We saw some really cool vehicles, and enjoyed a great dinner afterwards. Every one who missed it, should have been there.
