gear drives
hey guys........i just wanted too know who's running gear drives or know of someone. i was thinking of running 1 myself although i wanted to go with the quiet 1's. i have also talked to others that run this on chevys and mopars and was told that the quiet gear drives aren't that quiet compared to the loud 1's and if i wanted it more quiet that i could take it to the machine shop and they could cut down the teeth and make it more quiet so as it won't be so loud when running. i thought i was a good idea since i live in a neighborhood where theres a lot of retired and senior citizens living there also they help too watch my house when i'm not home. it would be a big plus as i wouldn't have to worry about the timing chain anymore. i know that some of you will say so why even run a gear drive if you want it so quiet. i was thinking it was 1 less thing i would have to think about that would break. so wad-da ya think about it..........all feedback welcome...........
