Lightbulb Aluminum Trim Anodizing Remover ?

Somebody wrote me about some Anodizing remover that was talked about a while back. I just went ahead and reposted it in case anybody else was needing some. I haven't been in contact with either place for a couple of years, but this is where I have bought before. The place in NC most recently. Phil

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

..........a readily available Anodizing remover. I had bought some a
few years ago, but could no longer find it. Well this past weekend I finally ran across a vender that sells it. It's the same stuff I bought before that worked so well. It's from a place called :

RGS Abrasives Inc.
1246 W. Webb
DeWitt, MI. 48820
517-669-8848 or 888-725-4538
E-mail <RGSBuff1@GTE.Net>
A jar about the size of a beer can is $10,
and that's enough to do a whole car if you don't spill or waste it.
(It takes just a small amount to make a gallon of solution, and you can use it over and over ) They also sell a full line of other buffing supplies.

Cool Aluminum Trim Anodizing Remover ?

This stuff makes a nice consistant liquid mix. You DIP the parts in a bucket or plastic pan and after you rinse it off, it leaves a nice smooth finish that polishes out nicely. You can save this stuff and use it over and over also. Not a bad deal for the money.

Good luck,

Aluminum Trim Anodizing Remover ?

Yes, but ONLY if you can dip the whole thing. It won't work well enough if you just spray it on or wipe it on. For something like that you'd be better off trying the oven cleaner route. It would take a heck of a bucket to put that big grille in!

I don't know how much you spent on the remover you bought, but I have to agree with oldroady...oven cleaner works fine. Spray it on and wait about 3 to 5 minutes then rinse off with water Repeat procedure as needed. Peace...out.

aloha,

Aluminum Trim Anodizing Remover ?

Like I said in a previous post, it was $10. It makes enough to do the trim on several cars, is designed for that purpose, and is reusable. Good luck,
