Not to bad mouth the C4, but it is just more of car tranny. So if your plans for this truck include regular home depot runs or hauling of any kind I would just go with the C6, and save the yourself the headache.
Though if your going to just cruise I wouldn't hesitate on a C4. Its alot lighter, and would help with mpg's with 4 dolla gas.
F100 roughly 3600 lbs.
Mustang roughly 2900 lbs.
The C6 is very literally twice the transmission the C4 is.
