First off, I know next to nothing about the sensors on these trucks. I couldn't tell you what goes where or what it does when it comes to the sensors.
I have noticed with the cooler weather that my truck runs much better. More power, smoother, less bogging - just tons more fun to drive. Low-end torque is downright mean.
* What sensors affect power with tempature change?
R U asking about the electronic controls for the '94? How long have you owned the vehicle?
Yessir, I'm talking about my '94. I've owned the truck 5 years now. My first vehicle!
Yes I'm asking what sensors might affect my truck's performance because of temptature change.
I was thinking perhaps my 300 is running richer in cooler weather, thus the "increase" in power. She seems to run best around 40 to 50F*.
I realize all automotives run better in cooler weather but this seems to be a rather noticable increase in performance. I would like to be able to keep this power year round if I can.
I was grinning from ear to ear yesterday durring the joy ride.
If your vehicle runs better in cooler weather I would check out the cooling system. A partially blocked radiator, faulty water pump, or thermostat that doesn't open all the way could be the cause.

Pull the codes. It's free at Autozone, and may reveal that something is amiss.
not to mention the air charge as well as the fuel is cooler. used to love my road runner with the 440 6 pack this time of the year, floor it and listen to the cool, damp air make the carbs scream, BAROOOOOOOO. wow. thanks for the memory jog Bill!!!!
might want to check your fuel pressure, you might have a bad regulator, I did on the new to me 94. ran much better, and better fuel mileage after the change.
i completely agree 6cylbill....my 300 is the same way, runs alot better in cold temps even seems to shift smoother lol... my buddys 300 acts the same way,,, either way its great power in the cold!
Ravens Fan, Charlie, while the 300 can pull a barn up hill, it only has 145 horse; if the cooler weather were to free even 15 horse, that would feel a lot more significant than if we had 250-horse V8's. I'm starting to think maybe because of the low horsepower all 300's feel much stronger in cooler weather.
