Expy 9.75 in an F150?
Lately Ive been driving around with a tooth or 2 missing of the R&P of the 8.8 in my 97 F150. I looked into the local salvage yard, they wanted $900+ for another axle and I didn't have the money, However I just stumbled upon a 9.75 out of a 97 Expedition for $200, its got 136,00mi or so on it. Will it bolt right under my truck or are the suspensions different? Will the Drive shaft have to be shortened/replaced? I don't have access to any fab tools so I'd like to find a bolt in solution if not I guess ill run the 8.8 that sounds like its got a Detroit clang-n-bang for a while longer.
