My "New" Project 5th Wheel
#16
Man that's great deal for sure - I paid about the same for my camper, and it's a slide-in that goes in the bed. I'd love to have a 5th wheel like that, would make my life a whole lot easier when it comes to just driving around with the truck (I only unload my camper for the summer season when I regularly pull hay trailers and such)... Then again I'd hate to see the heating bill for something that big - being in Oregon, make sure you insulate the heck outta that thing!

Don you can better believe that! Wait until I post up some pics of were I parked it up here LOL
Dave they do match, just gotta love fate!
LCAM I plan to have the underside shot with insulation after all repairs are done, if all goes right I will spend a year living in this thing at the coast.

Good, but also plan on doing something about the roof too - cold does come in from the bottom yes, but heat escapes from the top. Good insulation really is king when it comes to homes on wheels, register on a good RV board and see what people do about it - especially so if you plan on living in it for a while...

Just a few more pics before I got out and start tearing into her. Since the rv has been sitting for over 2 years it had everything from wasps to black widows in it. Last night I sealed it up and set off 2 bug bombs. I go out this morning to open her up and it looks like a nuclear holocaust in there lol

That's a great view in the background of the first pic What's with the tents tho (left side of second pic)?
Oh yah, did all the critters crawl out to die in the open from you bug bombs? lol
That gooseneck adapter, don't get too crazy about it just yet, it does allow for more articulation than the 5er but your trailer's floor in that area still looks pretty close to the bed rails - how much clearance you got there when parked on level ground?
