timing belt replacement
Thanks to all for the great advice on the timing belt and water pump change on my 98 2.5 B2500. IIt went pretty smooth and runs fine. I wanted to change the thermostat too but the inside bolt has a stripped head. Anybody know any secrets short of drilling the head off to get that bolt loose?

I bought some sockets called bolt out by Craftsman. They are helical with counter clockwise flutes inside. Just push on the rounded head and they really dig in. Twenty bucks, but saved me a ton of agravation.
