straight up? depends totally on drive train condtion, miles on each, and other factors with the bronco... did he put proper gears and u-joints in... I have seen way to many lift jobs hacked up and poorly done by people who have no idea what they are doing...

I think the key thing is the fact the Bronco 'needs smog' and it's on a temp sticker. Sounds like it can't pass to me. See if the owner will smog it first. If not, then pass.

Just my 0.02 USD worth.

Yep... sounds like he hit a big snag in his project and wants to dump it. Tranny going out? Engine going out? I think there's a lot more to the story then what is in the ad. Do you have the resources to rebuild the engine or tranny if you need to? Are you going to depend on this vehicle as your daily driver?

I would bet that he's been to smog several times and has tried different things to rectify the problem. He either hasn't figured it out and wants to pass along his problems to someone else or he's found out it's going to be super expensive and wants to pass along his problems to someone else.

Yeah and listen to the little voices in your head that are telling you NOT to do it...

Broncos are cool, but that just looks like a down grade to me.
