Anyone running 2 OBDII devices with an OBDII2 splitter?

Has anyone used two OBDII devices simultaneously like an Edge insight or Evolution with another such as an Aeroforce gauge? The OBDII splitter cable is available here for $12.95:

OBD II Cables - Cables - OBD2Cables.com

I might be interested in having an Aeroforce OBDII gauge if I am able to run it with my OBDII EDGE gauge at the same time.

Anyone running a configuration like that or know someone that does? Will it work?

If you want to try it out, I have a splitter. We can hook it up and run my AE software to see if it does anything. Just give me a call and we can try it out when you get enough time.

Sounds like a plan. Will give you a call soon. From the searching I did it seems that some devices will read data from the PCM simultaneously via a splitter without any contention or issue but some devices may interfere with each other. Just need to test the combination of devices I suppose. I'd really like to check out that Aeroforce gauge of yours and see if my Edge will co-exist with it via the OBDII splitter. I did some more reading up on it today and I am really impressed by its capabilities. Especially the ability to display IPR duty cycle, run cct/buzz tests and add fuel pressure with their add on sender.

Been looking at doing this for sometime, going to the wrecking yard and finding a wrecked Superduty. Splicing in a second port. I do have the Edge Evo for pulling codes and the Scan Guage.

You shouldn't need a Superduty. Pretty much any OBD II vehicle '96 or newer will have the connector. To make it easy a Ford will more than likely have the wires all the same color.

Just want a Superduty, can get other parts from it too. If the parts I'm looking for are there.
