How much would you pay for this truck?

I'm looking at a 1994 F-150, 4x4, lariat, reg. cab, short bed....but it has a rebuilt title. the right bed panel is pretty much screwed and the right rear tire wears (that problem WILL be determined before i buy). Just wondering what yall would pay for a truck like this. He's asking $2k, but i think i could talk him down to $1700 or so.

$1700 is too much in my opinion. The right rear is screwed and the tire wears on that side. Since the one on the other side is not wearing then I would think it has a bent axle or axle tube. Not cheap to fix. That makes me wonder what else is wrong with it.

salvage title and a messed up rear end... no more than a $1000. like the previous post said... somethin is wrong with the rear of the truck if the tires are wearing differently

i bought a 1994 f-250 last year with a 460 for $1,800. the truck is in almost perfect shape, but it has 215,000 on it. mine was a great deal, but i still think what you are looking at is way overpriced. i would say no more than $1,000 for that f-150

Another vote for possible bent frame
Salvage/rebuilt trucks can be a great deal IF you find the right one and are planning on keeping it for a long time...
I just recently looked at a 1ton std cab truck, hit passenger side rear bed/wheel and walked away for similar reasons as above

If it's wearing out a rear tire on a full size pickup truck, it's seriously screwed. It should really get parted out and scrapped. At least taken off the road.

1500-2000 should buy you a pretty nice late 80's-early 90's truck
