D6AE-B1A Anyone know?

I broke the nipple off of a little piece that was connected in-line of a hose that goes from the air cleaner to the preheat duct that runs down to the exhaust manifold. One side (the blue side) says VAC/MTR and has the number D6AE-B1A and the other white side says A/CLR and 8 HR. Does anybody know where I can find another one of these? I assume it is just some sort of check valve that only allows air to flow in one direction. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The first link wouldn't take me anywhere but the second link isn't the part I am describing. I found a picture of it in a chilton's manual and it says it is a retard delay-valve. I have removed all of the smog equipment so maybe I don't even need this but I'm not sure if you have to have this valve to allow the warm air from the manifold to enter the air cleaner.

Yes, that is the part I was talking about. What is it for? Do I actually need it?

Not sure if you actually NEED it. I believe it is either a restrictor to control the flow rate or a check valve, not really sure.
I don't see a problem hooking the vacuum motor (9D612) up direct.
