85 Ford F250 4x4 ?

Has any body got a picture of their backing plates on the D60 rear axle I can look at? I think the backing plates are on the wrong sides therefore my E-brake cable will not reach. I didn't put them on that way just to clear that up. I am getting it lined out and found out that the cables won't reach the bracket on the frame. Me thinks the idiot that worked on it before me did it backwards the backing plates look way newer than the everything else.

The hole in the backing plate for the cable should be towards the front of the truck

Thats what I was thinking thanks some idiot had them facing the rear so now I'm switching them back. This might be a pretty nice truck once all the stupid stuff is finaly gone. Thanks for the reply.
