03 splash guards in front wheel wells?

I seem to have a very large open space in both of my front wheel wells were extreme amounts of liquid gets splashed onto the engine from while driving. You can see by looking at the wheel well there are holes drilled presumably for some sort of flexible splash guard to be installed but I have none. Does anyone else have one installed on a 03 expy or earlier model year? Is it a part I can buy from the dealership?

I have the same "large open space" your talking about on my '03 XLT FX4. Looks like something is missing to me also. Can anyone out there give us a reason or solution?

Yeah there's definitely too much salt and water that gets sprayed on the engine from these holes. Must be a flexible part that can be attached with those push in quick fasteners. The holes for them are already in the wheel well.

I just picked up my new '03 EXPY FX4 and I too have the same gap in the upper-inner front wheel wells. Any advice out there on how to "seal the gap?" Or, where can I buy flexible / rollup plastic sled (for snow) in the summertime? That flexible plastic used in those sleds would probably do the trick...any other thoughts? I want to cover this up before the engine gets too dirty...

Take a few measurements, make a rough sketch of the layout and then compare with the arrangements on earlier models. Maybe a 01 or 02 might fit if not an earlier one.
