I've sold my original 16" rims because I plan on going aftermarket. I have an idea of what I want but i'd like to see what's been done and get some ideas.
Please, if you post a picture let me know what tire and rim size you have, that would be very helpful for me to get the stance i'm after.
TIA

i have 235/55/17 pirelli's on a set of 05+ Mustang GT wheels, just make sure to get spacers to make them work. I like the way they look and have gotten quite a few compliments on them. Wouldn't mind going a bit wider in the rear. Next set of wheels and tires will probably equate to a 20" in the rear with an 18" in the front.

I'm a bit old fashioned. I don't like this new fad of huge wheel diameters with very tiny tire sidewalls. Oh sure, it might look good on some kind of gran touring car or a road race car, but I just don't think they look right on older vehicles.
I'm running 15" Cragars, I can't remember if they are 7" or 8" wide. I'm running P235/75R15's all the way around.
I'm considering cleaning up and reinstalling my old set of slotted mags (15" as well)
Good luck on your quest

Thanks guys!
Fiftyfourd - those are pretty much the wheels I was thinking about going with, basically a torque thrust style 5 spoke with the gray spokes and shiny beauty ring, looks good. I'm pretty old fashioned as far as diameter too, i'll probably go with 15" or 16", but I like that style a lot.

Ah yes, a timeless classic. I'd love to find a set of chrome reversed wheels or smoothies for my truck either with the smooth caps or a set of the old spider caps

Yep me too, ………….but with customs and taxes and fees and shipping it was out of the question, then one day on the bay, not bullet wheels but damn close, new tires and wheels, very reasonable, pre-paid shipping, done deal. (I love them.)
(They have some kind of funny name on them, foot or something?)
