What happened to my ABS plugs???
99superduty4x4 v10
So I'm in the middle of replacing my front hubs when I realize something.
I didn't disconnect any ABS sensor plugs! Everything I checked ahead said I have 4wheel ABS on the truck, yet there was nothing plugged into the hubs. I'm going to search up inside the fenderskirts etc, but somebody would have had to pull a fuse also to not show a code, right?
Any ideas why my VIN says 4wheel ABS and then not actually have it?
Thanks alot
Brian

Weird!
Yes the abs would have tripped a code, and light would be on if no abs reading was being made. I would check the fender wells, and also your fuse box to see if you even have abs. Some one goofed somewhere down the line and you might not have abs. Look in the engine comp for the abs pump. It should be drivers side, below the head light, down in front of the fender well.
