Hypothetically Speaking on a slick

Hypothetical, How many FTE members would be interested in dent and rust free parts for a 1965-66 Slick.

Everything as in complete truck.

Bumper, Grille, core support, inner fenders, fenders, hood, all glass, all trim as in custom cab, complete interior, cab assy, doors, MINT box complete, wiring, dash, complete chassis and suspension etc.

I have a chance to buy a super straight truck but do not need it all. The guy will not sell parts. I know how hard to find nice straight rust free parts are.

Kind of expensive but if enough people needed parts...

Trouble is I have no idea what the parts are worth.

The thought is good, but the problem is marketing and shipping. I know that there are people out there who could use most of your parts. The problem is finding them or them finding you. And then if you do connect, you have to figure out how to get it to them or ship it, which for certain items, can be a real pain.

I have truck for parts right now that I have on local Craigslist, but that sure narrows the market down. I don't want to deal with Ebay and shipping - too much time and hassle involved. Of course, if you could sell high, might be worth it. I like to sell for prices that the workin' man can afford and just break close to even.

The other problem is most everyone wants it for free! As I am finding this out myself with the frames I will be offering to the pubic with in the next month. I would keep it for yourself Randy! If its that clean I wouldnt let the slick 60s gods have it!

BTW call me.

I just picked up a slightly wrinkled 66 F250 that had a really nice bed and a decent running 302 in it. I will be dropping my old cattle mover abused bed back on the donor, applying some primer and offering it back to the market. If no one is interested, since the cab supports and corners are well ventilated as well, it may make a nice trailer....
