Hellow everyone, i have a 2001 ford E-350 with the 7.3 diesel. and it has oil press. at idle and normal driving. But when its wide open throttle it loses iol press. and all the war. lights go off. replaced low press. pump.. Anyone have a answer for me???

 

Sensor? It should quit running if you lose oil pressure for very long at all.

Its possible your sensor has a "dead zone" in it and your oil pressure increases to that area at WOT.

 

What is telling you you have no presure?

 

hooked up mec guage and it dies off at wot. replaced sensor and bolth press pumps.

 

Are you reading this presure from your LPOP, or from your HPOP.
Both Pres pumps, HPOP and LPOP?

are you loosing oil, what is your oil level?
