Mine just did the one swipe thing today for the first time. Believe it or not, it wasn't raining here in the PNW so I didn't need wipers on. Only 3 week old truck, 650 miles. I kinda went "Huh?" Checked to see if wipers were switched on, then I remembered seeing the title of this thread and checked it when I got home. Hope it doesn't become an issue. Time will tell.

Hey, folks!

Intermittent issues like an occasional wiper swipe like this one can be hard to diagnose, but you should let your dealerships know so they can get it documented. If you don't want to make a special trip, you can bring it up the next time you're in for a maintenance appointment. As always, I'm here if you need any additional help.

Same here, I just bought a 2016 3 weeks ago and I already have the phantom wipe when I start the truck. Only happened 3 or 4 times since I bought the truck.

I have a 2016 F350 Platinum 6.7

My 2015 now does it regularly, i.e. almost always, but the "causal" factor seems to be if I leave the drivers door open for more than a minute. If I jump out and immediately close the door, and upon returning, jump in and immediately close the door - no issue at all.

I do have "courtesy" extra swipe after windshield cleaning set to "on.". I should try the other setting, but the windshield really needs the extra courtesy sweep.

My 2013 was doing the same thing on occasion along with all four doors unlocking on one push of the remote. Dealer did a flash on mine and it hasn't done it since.

I'll probably jinx myself for writing this, but my truck just passed a year old and it hasn't done it since it was about two months old. Happened maybe 3-4 times in the first two months, and just quit on it's own. Only been to the dealer once in that time for oil change.
