Center seat instead of center console

If you get a center seat in the front will you still have the rear air conditioning vents? Also will you still have a power outlet in the back?
Thanks

I think it depends on whether or not its a crew cab. I know the 110 is available.

No, with the centre seat you don't get the rear air conditioning vents and you don't get the 110V outlet. There are heating vents under the driver and passenger seats though.

I use the storage space under the front seat to run a dual-port 12v outlet to the back seat (attached to driver's seat down low, for the back passengers), and run a 150W inverter to supply 120V when needed. I just lift the seat and plug in whatever one I need, or both.

Crew cab or super cab can have the console.
The XL has a console option but it is a much smaller console.
If you have the console, you have the two rear air vents and the 110v plug.
If you have the front middle seat, you don't have either.

I have a super cab with the console so it has the two rear air vents and a rear 12v and 110v. I'm not too impressed with the air flow volume from the two rear console vents but it's not bad. I haven't even used heat yet so IDK if there is rear heat in the SC.
I can slide "stuff" under my seats so there aren't heat vents in the floor.

My Lariat has vents under the seat, maybe it's a Lariat thing because that's how you get A/C in the seats.

I think you are right on this. Hadn't considered it until you said it.

Would oyu mind posting a pic of your set up of the inverter? I have a supercab with front center seat and a 300W inverter I could use for this since you mentioned it

Sure, no problem, just give me a few days -- the truck has gone back to the dealer to repair a scrape on the front fender from when they delivered it. I should have it back in a couple of days.

i have an XLT, and it has the center seat.

i was very ticked off at how small the storage room is in the seat itself. i use to fit 2-3X as much stuff in the console of my 2006 F350 in the flip up seat. i should have got a lariat knowing what i know now.

Did you not get to look at the truck before buying? Just asking.

the outside dimensions of the seat are the same as on my 2006.

so, one would think its safe to assume the inside would be the same.

i guess im just an idiot.

You may already know this, but just in case... Did you know there is additional, lockable storage below the center seat up front? I agree, the console storage itselft doesn't offer much, but between the two up front, it works just fine for me. Mine was locked on delivery, so you need to make sure you unlock it if it doesn't come right up when you pull the handle.

This is probably a stupid question, but How would you get to it if it is under the seat?

The Seat bottom raises as the top of the box...

Had the same seatup in a 1967 chevy -factory buckets with jumps seat with box underneath - mine held 8 tracks -

I guess I just aged myself...
