Headlight brightener + LED bar

I was lucky enough to win one of these at my 4x4 club's holiday party:

Quadratec pn 97109.1010 2 Spot / 4 Flood Combo 60 Watt 10" LED light bar

Because it is both spot & flood it can't be used with the low beams, plus I wanted to control it with the existing high beam switch. I also wanted to reduce, rather than increase, the load on the OEM wiring and shorten the electrical path to the headlights.

3) 25' spools of 12 ga wire, miscellaneous tie wraps, split loom, 2 relays with harnesses and these did the trick:

2 relays on right inner fender


Longer 6mm bolts inserted into the stock battery clamps give an easy attachment:

Looks good! I hate to ask but I only do because it happened to me. Did you add the zip-tie to the connector because the plastic lever broke?
