Can't wait for the photo of everything installed. I told my wife I wanted to do the same thing, all she said is 'WHY?". Sheesh, woman just don't get it. Except maybe Lisa.

Nice Work!!!
Yes I will agree with you Lisa is a rare bird...My fiance thinks the same way when I tell her i gotta clean the engine...lol.
Thanks guys. I will say getting all the 12 years of grease off in some parts like the damn power steering bracket was a real PITA, but I did it and kept it all together. Just gotta make sure you mask it all off as necessary. The red boots I have are Clay's boots, and I may still paint them too LOL, but it is a PITA to set up the gun and spray, and then have to clean it, but it's the best way to get a quality finish. I still gotta spray the heads and block, so I might just wait to do the rest once it's all together to make sure I don't run out. A quart goes a long way! And you're right, there aren't many women out there who understnad why we do what we do, but my wife does say it looks nice.
Nice work Danny. Lots of prep work there, it shows, Kudos. Why is your'e engine tore so far down, just for paint? Were'nt you considering doing some car transporting? If you still are I have two vehicles that need transported from Colorado, south of the Springs to Jamul CA (mexican border town) Drop me a PM if your'e interested. I like the red, I've been on an Old Ford Blue kick lately. Just through attrition and as needed. Prep work is a bitch though, Although I don't need to tell you that. did you get your paint and body training in the military? If so what technical schools did you attend? I went to Aberdeen in MD,Sherwin Williams in Reno, and Ford in Burbank CA through the military. Then Toyota after military service.
You my friend are... Out of control! Thanks a god damn lot of RED!! You gotta have some accents like black or something! Chrome! Anodized blue and chrome!
