Mechanical engineering. I have over 10 years verifiable welding experience, and they are looking for a weld engineer for their co op program. Main thing I am concerned about is being able to still take a few classes while still doing the co op, because if I can't, it will set me back a year.

It was more in line with what I wanted to do. Although mechanical is pretty interesting.

Sounds like the path you needed to follow then. I am more into the construction and dynamics of machinery.... plus that is where I have a lot of experience. I have minimal to about no experience with civil, and since I'm not so young, I need the experience to help me out anyway...
