Yep, start messing with it and I guess you can screw it up enough to make it smoke like a chimney.

Just goes to show that the 6.7L is alot more refined on alot of things. Even if it didnt have a DPF from the factory is smokes alot less than the 6.4L did.

 

? my 6.0 never smoked in stock form .. and it didn't need a washing machine to do it
so it must have been refined more than a 6.4

You can do that without stacks and without excessive smoke.

 

Speaking of stock 6.0's... I just saw one a lil while ago. Smoked at idle.. smoked at mid cruising.. killed at full throttle..

 

About the 2011 comment ,,I realize that the 2011 didn't need to smoke .. smoke is a wate of fuel
and power ,, my comment was on the dyno #'s

as for the 6.0 comment ,, I am sure the 6.0 you saw wasn't stock or was messed up

 

Yea, it was a 6.0. There was the problem. It was a f450 that towed a fifth wheel all the time.

Lol, im kinda just in a grrr mood. Was sick for 2 weeks with a cold and ive had like 5 days of sinus infection and headache. Its HORRABLE.

I would love to be able to smoke out people with my truck tho :P
