Heres one for ya
ok boys... heres the issue. when you go to hit the gas on my truck if you just barely touch it it will buck and almost die and then hit high idle < this is efi > and its starting to **** me off when im trying to do something like haul wood and important things like that... any help appreciated. thanks

Pull the codes and get a Haynes manual or look here for the procedure to test the TPS & IAC with a multimeter. Also, check the whole ignition system.
Your '93 doesn't have a choke.

I had this problem... in fact many of us have.
My suggestion?
Read EVERY post you can find (use the search engine) in the archives and in current threads about restricting (and/or blocking) the EGR on EFI Inline Sixes.
There are so many posts about it that you probably won't need to post any questions about it. Plus it is cheap, it has worked for just about every poster who tried it (that responded back) (save for one that I can remember), and it is easy to do.
