Moded my S&B intake

I was working on my truck and seen how far back the intake tube for my S&B was from the zoodad mod.

(This is looking at through my zoodad hole).
I was thinking if it were closer to the front,it would catch more cool air. Then a bolt of lighting flashed in me head.

So I took the factory intake tube and cut it at the shoulder.

Then I fit the factory tube and the S&B tube and put them together.Took a little persuasion but they fit together nice.

Here is the end result.

The extended tube is right out front by the zooddad mod.Witch should scoop plenty fresh air and bugs.

They fit together very tight.Once there together I had a h@!! of a time pulling them apart.I stuck a screw in just to keep them in place.

Great job. I've still got mine, but don't have the zoodad mod. I still kind of wondered why they didn't put it all the way to the front.
