Remove the tie rod and lower ball joint and spring to get at the nuts to remove cross member from van frame


Just got it close to where it needs to be

I picked up some 3/4 inch plate to make the spacer for the top of the frame to make it same depth as van frame and some 1/8 inch plate to make a box around bolts

I'm going to have to notch the frame to allow the bolts to clear

I painted my 87 GMC Wrangler frame with POR15 and it turned out nice

Ya got a few, Maybe a bunch Bud. But ya don't have the most. There are guys here that would put Rush Limba or Tim Allen to shame. There was a list your fleet thread going a while back. Liked ta made me cry. Some really cool old Iron for sure.

You can see in the pictures how much wider the van was compared to the F100
