351m into an 84
I bought an 84 Bronco for parts. Well, I really got it for its C6 that I needed for my 82. It was a running and driving Bronco, with no title. After I pulled the C6, the PO called me to tell me he found the title. Now I dont have a good smallblock C6 to put back in. I do have a complete good 351m, C6, and np203 to put in that came out of one of my other Broncos. I know the 86 truck good have come with the 351m, so I was wondering about my 84 Bronco. I think it would be interesting to have the fulltime 203 in the 84 behind that 351m. It had the 302 to begin with ( that is still good).

As for putting one in an 84, in theory it would work well as long as the motor mounts lined up. That along with other various linkages. I don't know if the stock drivelines would work but it could be worth a shot. You mentioned it had a 302 before so you would need to find a donor vehicle that had a 351M and take the mounts out of that. You may need to get tranny mounts and t-case mounts.

Ford used up the last of the 351M in 82 and some 83 model year trucks. I highly doubt (there are always exeptions) that this 85 came with a 351M
As Dylan mentioned you just need to nab the proper mounts and then line up the driveshafts. Luckily you have the C6 with the M block as the bellhousing between the 351M and 302/351W are different. Then its just a matter of connecting the linkages.
