Just picked up an '09 F-150 Platinum, 2wd. 29k miles.

The truck has every option but the 4x4, and the previous owner put a hard bed cover on the back.

So, my questions:

What all should be done to the truck appearance wise? (I am planning on putting tint on the front windows asap) Do bug shields or anything look decent on the truck? anything else that should be done to it?

Performance wise, while this truck is obviously not meant to be a sporty truck, and I do not intend for it to be, anything that will increase performance and fuel efficiency, and be worth it? I will be doing a decent amount of towing, my bay boat and my '71 mustang.

(Things like a chip, or exhaust, etc.)

Any other suggestions for mods?

Any problems to keep an eye out on this truck? (I have noticed that the driver seat makes an odd clicking noise as it moves back when I turn off the ignition)

Something else I would like to change would be the headlights and foglights to a brighter and whiter light....i.e. something similiar to my mom's Lexus
