I think you get used to the vibration ... I know I did on my 94 Harley, and I use them all the time.

I was in fact thinking of using Harley mirrors for mine as I just have better access to them.

Wow, as much as I love my 56 panel, I REALLY love that short bus. I too have been scouring the internet for pic of mirrors on 50's trucks. The panel trucks are cool looking, but I see now why most all modern vans have windows on the pass. side. I will "borrow" BOBJs homemade design and maybe paint the mirror and arm satin black to match the body color. Thanks for the "cheap" ingenuity BOBJ!

I am mixed on the mirrors. On one hand I think they look awkward. On the other I wonder what they would look like rolled outward. They are straight up and down with the mounting pin centered but the pin is not centered in the head. They look straight up from the headlights. Perhaps rolled out creating a V shape moving up the truck visually. Clear as mud?
