99 F250 Aftermarket headlights install

Hey guys, I ordered some headlights from K2 motors and wondered if anyone has ever installed them. I was wondering if there is anything you have to modify in order to get the lights to fit as they say you don't need to modify anything. There is a projector on the lights that seem to stick off the back pretty far.

heres a link if anyone has used these

^^^You're thinking projectors as HIDs, but HIDs are the bulbs that come in the white and blue, ect colors.

I have HIDs in my truck now in teh stock housing so I know the difference. I just think when they market a light that says "projectors", the actual low beam driving light housing should be a projector....

Hey guys I slapped in my headlights last night and I like them a lot.... Extremely bright going down the road.... Here are some pics but forgot to snap one of the old lights but you guys know what the 99 headlights looked like, foggy looking and the amber turn signals. These took about 2 hours to slap in after modifying the front just a little. Not too bad when you have a dremel with a cut out bit in it LOL... you can see where I had to cut out just a little to allow for the projector to fit and the nice thing about it is you don't see the mod and you can still use the Stock lights in case these get fubar

If they say it doesn't require modification don't Believe them LOL

I think I'm going to get an 07 Grille and bumper for it as well.... I think the lights would look sharp with them and maybe some projector fog lights... Make it look NEAT!!!

How is the light beam?
Typical complain about Chinese Projectors are that they project everywhere but not in the front of the car.

once you get them lined up they are really quite nice.... the projector lights up the road almost like a set of fogs..... Only thing I have noticed a lot of people flash ya because they think your brights are on but you can run the projector with the low or high beams.... I think I paid 130 for them on Ebay from K2motors.... Nice little face lift... I'll be happy once the 07 grille and bumper come in. Those lights I think will look sharp with the newer bumper and grille
